Easy (cozy) Sunday 03/06/2011
Hi Furriends, Lucky Here! It is a bit cold today, and since we have no heater in the house, we feel purry snugly. Well, let me explain that - we did have heat until last week.... But you see, we live in an old old building, so it is either heat or air conditioner; since it was warm for a while the landlady had turned the air on... Good old Texas turned the weather the day that happened. Go figure - meowmy say's it is some gentleman's fault, I think his name is Murphy, or somefing like that. She said he is a lawyer, or has a law... It is ok though... Don't you guys like cuddling when it's a little cold? Humm... so cozy! Have a wonderful, super-easy Sunday furriends!  Yawn......  Soooo cozy! Bugsy on the left, Lucky on the middle, Hope on the right  No bed for me, but cozy all the same - Love meowmy's chair (Gracie)  what meowmyrazzy? (Bugsy)  no, no, I am not waking up for pictures! (Hope) 3 Comments  Hi Furriends, Lucky here! Thank you for all the purrs and purrayers, I really need them... We had a busy busy day here, lots going on... I am not eating on my own yet so meowmy is feeding me with a syringe until I feel hungry enough to eat without her help. I do eat treats, but unfortunately meowmy doesn't want to feed me only treats, so I guess I need to comply with her "force-feeding" plan. Feels like all we did today was this force feeding thing, but oh well, right? I am no longer throwing up - that is the good noos. Bad noos is that I am still very constipated. Meowmy checked my poop and didn't like what she saw. She said it looked like a witch from a Disney movie, but tiny. Got the picture? Yep, no good. So meowmy gave me some hairball treats as they are a good laxative, to see if I get some of that stuff out. Lets see if I do better next time around! On another note........................ Today is the last day to enter the Photo Contest!  Did you see that mom ML increased the prize? Yep, now the Prize will be a HUGE Goody Bag paw picked by little KC… you know how much fun she has making up her goody bags! So Furriends, today is your last chance! Hurry up and choose those cute pictures already - we know you can do it! :) Pee Ess: I have been so cooperative with force-feeding, meowmy asked me if she could make an "educational video" to help other meowmies and kitties who might have trouble eating out there... I said yes, but really, I think I might start charging royalty from now on! The video is below - am I a good actress or what?  Hi Furriends, Bugsy Here! Woohoo! Hi Furriends, Gracie here! For those who know me hai! For those who don't, nice to meet you! I think this is my very first post furriends! Finally I was able to get the compooter from Bugsy's hands! Whew, that was hard! Did you notice that we have a brand-new header? And did you notice me in that header? Yes, yes!! I am in there! Meowmy said that the order is not by importance by the way, but by order of arrival - Lucky arrived first, then Bugsy, then Hope, then me... so that's why I am last in there. Happy Sunday furriends!   Hi Furriends, Bugsy here! I am sleeping while I can... The "lady" with the vacuum monster is coming over again furriends *sigh*... I don't know why meowmy insists in having her over... So what if the house is a mess? Who cares? We certainly don't! We already told meowmy over and over again - litter box is clean, food is served on time, meowmy is playing with us... it's all good! Oh, and there is more! Meowmy said she has a furriend coming over to stay a whole week in the house! Well well, that's going to be interesting.... There are rumors this hooman is going to sleep on meowmy's bed, and meowmy is going to sleep either on the couch or on the airbed in the living room. That is very confusing for me, you see? This is the first time we have other hooman over, and I am not too sure what to think about... Meowmy says not to worry, this hooman loves cats, and has 2 of her own... To make matter worse (yeah, it gets worse) meowmy is going out of town Tuesday, and will leave the hooman with us - a-l-o-n-e!!! Oh boy... Furriends, I don't know what to think... I don't know if you should pray for us, for meowmy, or for this hooman, for that matter. Well, pray for us, furriends - we are the most impawtant part in this matter, of course!   Help!  The lady with the mean vacuum-monster-machine is in the house! Help!!!!!!! Ahhhh.... She had the nerves to clean O-U-R shelves! Let me repeat: O-U-R shelves! Our holly, sacred kitty wall! I tried my best to use my super powers - you can see in the picture I am getting ready to shoot some magic laser right off my eyes! Lucky for her, mom stopped me just as I was going to shoot. She escaped.... for now... Hey Folks, Bugsy here! It's been a looooong time! Sorry - meowmy has been working too much, and traveling too... She has been baaaaaaad on the bloggie - Don't worry, we will punish her accordingly... We still have our claws, teeth, and devilish Good looks! Speaking of it................. Look what I found! That is me!!! Me me me! I made it to I Can Has Cheezburger! It kind of bothers me that they think I am a girl cat.... Oh well! What do they know??? Hi, Bugsy Here! Sometimes I go into these 3am kneading fits on meowmy's arm, chest, or belly... this video is a demonstration on my kneading skills on her arms. Please forgive the poor video quality as it was taken from meowmy's cell phone and meowmy's groggy voice and accent - I tried, but she was just not professional enough. She kept giving me these excuses, saying it was late, and blah blah blah - humans, you know? Oh well, they will just never be as sophisticated as us kitties, I have to get to used to that fact...................... Anyway, do you like honoring your humans with mid of the night kneading too? It is only special if you have sharp claws, and during the week, of course - they make great animated scratching posts during those times! Have a good Sunday folks!  Take me out of here meowwwwwmy! Hi, Bugsy here! Our rabies shot expired (Lucky's and mine), and meowmy is going out of town soon, so she decided to take us to the V-E-T... The reason? A nice lady is coming by to take care of us and give me my medicine, and meowmy is afraid of me biting her and being thrown into kitty jail! Silly thought! I kept reminding her that I am a laid back Ragdoll..... a raaaggddooolll, but apparently she didn't care much, she took us regardless. I couldn't believe it! Anyway, off to the V-E-T we went! We got our vaccines and exam by the nice lady vet. Then uncle Jim checked out my mouth to see how my Stomatitis is doing, and to see if I need another treatment or just the daily meds, and he also checked Sissy Lucky to see her improvement with the procedure she had. Uncle Jim said I am doing really well, and I do not need another treatment YEY!!! I just need to keep taking my meds every day, and I will be just fine! Meowmy and I are so happy! No anesthesia, no needles... No pain! My mouth is great! Sissy Lucky's mouth is also doing really well! I also lost almost one lb!!! Another good news! I went from 20lbs to 19.14lbs. The vet and Uncle Jim were very happy about that! Keep in mind folks, I am a Ragdoll, so I am very big, but I do have some junk in my trunk I need to lose :). Uncle Jim said he wants me to lose another 3lbs then go from there (I think he is out of his mind!)! Meowmy thinks I lost weight because I am eating more stinky goodness and less dry food - I love Hope's Stinky goodness so I just go for it! Meowmy says it is good for me anyways because of the moisture and all... Thanks goodness meowmy got a job, that stinky goodness is expeeeeensive! After the consult both Lucky and I got our butts shaved! Sissy Lucky pooped herself so stressed she was… poor baby so embarrassing! I got mine shaved because I have a furry bum, IBD, and a big belly – those three things do not go together folks! So everything was good at the V-E-T… The only thing meowmy didn’t like was that they didn’t have purevax vaccines, and she tried really hard to get them to get it… She will make sure to do that next year, although we did get the 3yr rabies vaccine, so at least we don’t need to worry about that for a long while now!
