Woohoo!!! I hung the kitty wall's last shelf today! The kitties LOVE it! The top shelf is 6 ft wide, and the other shelves are all 2 ft wide. The shelves, carpet and bracket all came from home depot... They cut a 12 ft x 1 ft strip of carpet, which I cut to size and affixed with the help of a glue gun. It was a fun project, and it was literally used from the first minute on the wall! They play chase on it, chase invisible bugs (silly Lucky), and of course take long naps in it.
Now I need to find creative (and free) ways to decorate it, as it is on my living room :).
Beside finishing this project.... Today is the perfect day to stay home and cuddle with the kitties... It is raining a lot, with scattered thunderstorms... Finally a day where I can open the windows and have some much needed fresh air, instead of constant air conditioner!
Anyway folks - gotta hug a kitty or two :)
