My baby was rescued from a shelter as she was going to be euthanized due to not being adopted; she WAS a shy cat. After years alone and single, I decided to adopt a Kitten, and read an ad on the web with a beautiful picture of her... Her rescuer (thank GOODNESS for her), needed the space to foster another cat, and her busy house was not good for Lucky. As a shy cat, she needed peace and quiet - she needed to be spoiled, and the one and only princess of the house... That is how she became my queen!
Lucky is today anything but a shy cat... She is outgoing, playful, SPOILED, definitely the alpha of the house, and she also has an invisible leash - she follows me everywhere around the house, and loves playing fetch! It took a long time and a lot of work to bring her out of her shell, but bringing her home was the best thing I have ever done... I know I rescued her, but for sure she was brought here to rescue me!
Lucky demands love and attention, and gives me lots of kisses throughout the day. She is an indoor only cat, but I do take her outside on occasion on a harness.
The word that can best describe her is PRINCESS!
